Yes, in most cases. We retrofit CarPlay (and Android Auto) to a wide range of vehicles that originally shipped without it — including older Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche, Volvo, and many others. The retrofit works with your existing factory screen, so it looks and feels like it came from the factory.

On most vehicles we retrofit, CarPlay launches through your existing OEM menu — same fonts, same screen layout, same controls. You won't see ugly third-party menus or aftermarket branding. For some cars we can also enable the manufacturer's own CarPlay activation through coding alone, with no extra hardware.

Most of our retrofits support wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto as standard, so your phone connects automatically when you get in the car. Wired-only is sometimes the only option on certain older systems — we'll confirm which applies to your vehicle before booking.

Yes. We integrate CarPlay with your factory controls — steering wheel buttons, rotary dial (iDrive, MMI, COMAND), or touchscreen — so it operates like part of the car. Voice control through Siri also works through the car's microphone.

No. Our retrofits are designed to sit alongside the factory infotainment without disturbing the rest of the car. Reversing camera, parking sensors, DAB radio, Bluetooth phone, and original navigation all continue to work as before. You can switch between CarPlay and the original system whenever you like.
